Flexible Membership.

The annual cost of £505.00, which is broken down as £75 membership, which gives access to practice facilities, a golf handicap, social membership and Union fees plus 100 points (at £4.30 per point). Flexible members can also acquire a locker and/or have use of the trolley store upon payment of the usual members’ fee.

The Flexible Membership offer will last for 24 months from the date of joining, after which period members will be required to renew their membership or move up to midweek or full paying members . Should a member not want to renew then any unused points will be lost, these cannot be cashed in or used after the membership renewal date or transferred to another member .Flexible members who move up to MW or full will have points credited @ £4.30 per point off their 1st invoice

If a Flexible Member has used their 100 points within the 12 month period they have the ability to purchase more points at the following rates:

25 points at £120 50 points at £220 100 points at £430

All rounds of golf must be booked via the tee booking system, with points automatically deducted as per the attached matrix.
Flexible members can play in the club roll ups but must ensure that a tee booking slot is made at the earliest tee slot after the roll up

Any member failing to follow these processes runs the risk of disciplinary action or having their membership withdrawn.

Flexible members can enter all club competitions except those that lead to the full honors board. There are some exceptions to this broad principle particularly in respect of Open Competitions. Full details of which competitions Flexible Members can play in, what they can win or qualify for and how many points to be deducted are attached.

Flexible members cannot enter club knockout competitions or represent the club in team events, including Scratch, Rabbits, Handicap League, Seniors, Ladies etc.
Flexible members can take part in both Yorkshire Day and Home International competitions (6 points).

Flexible members are not able to enjoy the benefits of any reciprocal arrangements the golf club has with other courses.

Other members’ benefits are included for Flexible members including free partners social membership, free function room hire, discounts on food and drink bought through the members’ card (currently 10% on both food and drink). Flexible members can also benefit from the ‘member get a member’ incentive scheme and can join the 250-club draw (subject to available numbers).
Flexible members do not have voting rights at the club’s AGM and are unable to be a member of the CMC.
Flexible members can upgrade to either a full or midweek member at any time and the appropriate for any unused points will be credited at £4.30 per point.
